dyBOT is an off-line programming tool for converting trajectories in CAD formats to the native language of any robot. dyBOT was first released in 2000, and a new release of the product including all technologies described here (KML, MAI, CGD, etc) is expected for the beginning of 2004. For the moment, dyBOT version 1.0 is available for evaluation here.

ARTICLES

CGD

CGD is a Windows dialog development tool. CGD is one of the programming ideas developed by the author. This article describes the use of CGD to create easy, reliable and intuitive dialog with a minimum programming effort.

KML

KML is a programming standard for CAD, robotics, simulation or other applications requiring complex, parametric 3D words and/or mechanisms. This article describes the basic ideas behind KML.

MAI

MAI is a multiple area interface. An original design of the author, applicable to CAD and robotics applications, but also to many others.

  This article describes MAIs guidelines.
This tutorial explains the use of MAI applications.
  This article introduces MAI programming.

Number Theory

These articles describe research made by the author on various Number Theory subjects.  Here is the Number Theory index.

2001 December 14, Moaña and the crab. (An informal essay on machines performing arithmetic and subarithmetic operations with special attention to the factoring problem.)

2001 December 14, All Fermat and Mersenne numbers are squarefree. (A proof based on the order of the subgroup of the powers of 2 modulo Fk or Mp.)

2002 January 2, Remarks about Wieferich primes in relation with ... (An exception was found to my previous proof.)

2003 December, More on Wieferich primes in relation with the General Form of ß(n) (A new approach.)

www.therobotics.org

This initiative pretends to help creating a free manufacturer independent format for exchanging robot grammar, parametric geometry and dynamics. The .org should be a forum to exchange robot models, download a free robot browser and discuss about robotics. Everybody is welcome. www.therobotics.org

KML DRIVERS

There are three types of KML plug-ins:
  • kmechs: Are kml mechanisms.

  • drivers: Are import/export filters for industry standard file formats such as: 3dm, 3ds, Ascii, Dxf, Iges, Iso, Kml, Lin, Plf, Stl, Tiff, Vda, Vmp, Vpr or Vrml

  • ktoolkits: Are sets of commands adding functionality to kml-based applications.
KML plug-ins, mostly drivers, are available for free download at:

dyBOT/drivers

KML MODELS

A collection of free materials and models in .kml file format are available for
download at:

GKE

GKE is short for Go Knot Engines:

This includes the GKE toolkit (contains the source code of the engine included with GoKnot 2.0), the textures (bitmaps of board materials and stones) and the list of all GoKnot texts for translation:

Number Theory

Besides the articles listed above, three Number Theory kits are available for free download:
  • Pascal (incl. Delphi) source: Cryptographic libraries (This includes efficient Pentium 64-bit arithmetic optimized code to operate with large (no matter how large) integers.)

  • Pascal (incl. Delphi) source: The Moaña parser/profiler (These files include the source code of a parser and a profiler to operate with the expression analyzing arithmetic and subarithmetic operations.)

  • Executable, (Windows) Fac10: (Simulation: The analysis of arithmetic and subarithmetic machines.)

ABOUT THIS SITE

WebBuild

This site has been created with WebBuild, an internal product that is still in version 1.0.

WebBuild accepts HTML input created or edited by many sources, including: Mozilla Composer, OpenOffice HTML Editor, Microsoft Word, etc. and fully re-translates it into grammatically simple, format optimized, version independent, fully relinked "vanilla HTML". (The kind file that can be opened with Netscape 3.0.) It also includes coherent support for browsers not supporting frames, automatic management of: indices, menus, keywords, images, links, FTP upload, cleaning of redundant or unsupported commands or parameters ...

Of course, WebBuild output is 100% compatible with the updated (under 100 KByte) HTML browser object included with all applications to display Help with only one limitation: Image files must be in jpg format to be displayed by the maiHTML object. (GIF is not supported.)

The combination of WebBuild and maiHTML provides both the website and the applications with a new automatically updated HTML interface to:
  • Learn the programs
  • Train while using the program
  • Share experience and/or models with other users
  • Read news
  • Update drivers or programs
  • Manage licenses
  • . . .
All links in this website have been verified by WebBuild, and are relative, except those included in the this list. Links in the list not starting with www.dybot.com are of the sole responsibility of their owners, have been included for informational purposes only and may be obsolete.
